Hi, and thanks for visiting my page! I have been playing softball since I was seven years old and have always loved being on the field and getting dirty. I love my high school and travel ball teams and am excited about the possibilities for the future. I am a smart, strong and committed team player looking for a program where I will be challenged and supported as I continue to grow as both an athlete and a person.

As an athlete, I try to be the hardest working player on the field. I am strong mentally and physically and I am a good teammate committed to encouraging and lifting up others. I primarily pitch and play 2nd base but have solid fundamentals and understand typical rotations for most positions. I am a strong fielding pitcher who gets to bunts and infield hits quickly and makes plays. This year, as a freshman, I had the privilege to lead the varsity high school team as the starting pitcher. At the end of the season, I was awarded first-team all-league and athlete of the month.

I love the game of softball and I love people. I have come to realize that nothing makes me happier than working hard and playing with great teammates who love the game too. I am coachable, flexible and hard-working and have learned how to keep my head up and compete when things get tough.

At school I work hard and stay focused while challenging myself with various advanced and honors classes. This past year, as a freshman, I received the "Viking of the Month" award for good citizenship and service to others. I love to laugh and talk with different people and have been able to coach younger players through our local developmental league and at various camps and clinics. I also have many interests outside of softball.

This past year I had the privilege of singing the Star Spangled Banner for various football, volleyball and basketball games at the high school including the 5A football state playoffs. I participated in the All-State Choir and will be performing as part of the select Jazz Choir this next year. I enjoy performing in musical theater productions and serve in various capacities at my church including children’s ministry and worship.

I want to attend a college where I can challenge myself and test my limits, where I am mentored and coached in a positive and supportive way, and where I can be a light to others using my talents and gifts to further bring glory to God.

Thanks again for your consideration. I look forward to talking with you!
