Student Engagement & Motivation
Calm the classroom, engage all students and maximize motivation!
Our model of Student Engagement & Motivation helps educators maximize success for every student. In a world where teachers are expected to do more with less time, this training in differentiating instruction provides practical strategies teachers can use immediately to meet more students where they’re at. These strategies help students connect with content and experience learning in a way many students never have before.
This training will increase attention and interest, motivation and self-efficacy of students in your school. It also includes a formal process and structure to help your staff share best practices across grade-levels as they relate to the specific students at your school. It is a high-energy training full of engaging, experiential activities and robust resources that you will be able to use for years to come.
Consider these questions…
- What do you do when a student is disinterested and has checked out of the learning process?
- What if we could motivate our students to become their own self-learners?
- If you had practical, easy to use tools to differentiate instruction, do you think your staff would use them?
- How would you like to bring the creativity back into teaching?
- The traditional bell-curve exists on the assumption that some students will always fail and some will always have to fend for themselves. Are you willing to crush the curve?
Reach those students in the gaps AND stretch the go-getters!
Our Student Engagement & Motivation training helps teachers improve their craft. There are no gimmicks, new policies, initiatives or committees; just powerful strategies teachers can use immediately to help more students succeed!
If you have ever... 1) sat through a professional development training and thought to yourself, I could be teaching and 2) had a desire to become an educational consultant with the opportunity to earn an impressive second income, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
2018 Time to teach Train the Trainers
July 9-12: Orlando, FL
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I continue teaching while training?
Yes. We hope you do. Most of our trainers are “active duty” teachers and administrators. Your participants will relate to you because you are in the trenches too. It is not uncommon for many of our trainers to make more in one day training, than in one month of teaching.
What does it mean to be an independent contractor?
All of our trainers are independent contractors. You are not considered an employee, franchisee, partner, or joint venturer. You are responsible for reporting all of your taxable income to the IRS (we will provide a 1099 form). This is your own small business and you have an unlimited earning potential.
Is this a multilevel company?
No! Our lateral organizational structure is similar to other highly respected companies. We have small group of Executive Directors who are excellent teachers and phenomenal trainers who provide support for our Associate trainers (you). That is the organization, there are no levels below you. It is impossible to find and place other trainers “under” you who in turn find trainers who find trainers, etc…. The training money doesn’t trickle “upward” in our company, as it does in MLM organizations. We share a majority of the earnings with our Associates. Why should the revenue you earn trickle upward to hundreds of people who you don’t even know?
Are there training territories?
No. You can train anywhere in the country and most places around the world.
Will there be competition amongst other trainers for schools?
No. We have only penetrated approximately 1% of the professional development training market. Our trainings have had a major impact on improving school climate, improving teaching and learning, increasing staff morale, decreasing office referrals and dropout rates and increasing tests scores. Because of this we are seeking highly talented teachers to help us keep up with the ever growing training demand.
Does the company schedule trainings for me?
No. We spend two full days at the Train The Trainer teaching you how we have done this successfully for 30 years. We teach you a number of successful strategies that will directly lead to principals inviting you to train in their schools. We give you the tools and the strategies and you use them to become a successful trainer. We want all of our trainers to have flexible schedules and the opportunity to train as much or as little as they wish.
A school wants to hire me, what do I do now?
Every one of our trainers has an Executive Director assigned to them who has a great deal of experience teaching and who has earned superior marks for presenting around the United States. Your director will work with you every step of the way, writing contracts, negotiating, and closing the deal. These are savvy business people ready to support you.
How much do I get paid?
Every contract is different and the amount of pay is largely determined by the size of the contract. On average our trainers typically earn $1500-$3500/day and often much more.
I know someone who might be interested, who do I contact?
Have them visit this website and contact us immediately. By now, you know the caliber of the professional that we are seeking, so please make sure that anybody that you refer meets our high qualifications. Have them fill out the contact us form and we will contact them immediately.
What is the Train the Trainer like?
The train the trainer session is an opportunity for educators across the country, just like yourself, to become certified in the Time To Teach material, network with like-minded individuals, and tap into your entrepreneurial spirit to create an impressive second income.
Our trainings are 4 full days (you earn 32 clock hours and are eligible for up to 4 graduate creditds). We spend time on content as well as business development. All materials are included in tuition: books, training manual, online training portal, webinars, teleconferences, and Director assistance. Our commitment to you never stops.
The executive team including Rick Dahlgren, one of the original creators of the program and CEO, is available all 4 days and is actively involved in the day-to-day activities. We are continually updating our training to keep it fresh and guarantee that people like you get everything that they need to be a successful trainer upon leaving.
How much is registration for the Train the Trainer?
$675 and you are also responsible for all of your own travel expenses.
Do you offer any assistance if I can't afford the training?
We give you a proven process to follow. You do all of the work. In just two hours, one Associate recently found sponsors to cover her training fee and all travel and lodging expenses. You are fully responsible for the $675.00 training fee, but you may use the Sponsorship Program strategies to attempt to offset that fee, as well as your travel and lodging expenses! If you are a talented teacher, we want you at our training. The Sponsor Program offers you the opportunity to gather a team of sponsors to help you fund the training. But, reiterating, you have to do the work.
What does it take to be a successful trainer?
Professionalism, we want you to be that professional that everyone admires. Passion, you must have a desire to help students and teacher succeed and thrive together. Personality, you’ve got to be able to deliver the message and connect with your audience.
Are there any hidden fees after paying my tuition for the Train-The-Trainer seminar?
No. Your tuition covers the 4 full days of training, coffee or tea and a catered lunch, books, materials, and online resources. The exectuive team will be available answer all your questions and concerns. After the Train the Trainer there are no out of pocket expenses required ever.
